3. Describe some ways the Old Testament outlines the Resurrection for us (cf. Psalm 16; 22; 30; 118; Daniel 12:1-3; etc.). Do you see the Resurrection as primarily an Old Testament or New Testament teaching? Explain.

4. What are your thoughts on the resurrected body of Christ? What was His body like? How was His resurrected body similar and yet different from His earthly body? How does this encourage us since we will be given a resurrected body?

5. How does the resurrected body bear the image of God differently than the earthly body (cf. Genesis 1:26-27; 5:3; Romans 8:29; 1 Corinthians 15:49; Colossians 3:9-10; 1 John 3:2-3)?

6. In what sense have we already been given victory over death and the grave through Christ’s resurrection? In what sense does the future resurrected body give us more victory over these things (cf. Romans 8:20-23; Job 19:25-27; Revelation 21:1-4; Philippians 3:20-4:1)?

7. How does the future resurrected body give us hope and purpose for life? How should knowing that we will be raised one day change our manner of life (cf. John 11:23-27; 1 Corinthians 13:9-13; 2 Peter 3:11-14)?
