OUR BELIEFS

We believe in the inerrant Word of God and trust in the doctrines of grace. While below are listed some of our statements of faith, they do not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself is the sole and final source of authority.

Bible

We believe that the Holy Bible is the Word of God, verbally and plenarily (fully and completely) inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings.  The Bible is the supreme and final authority in faith and life.

God

We believe in the one true God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each the same in essence and equal in power and glory, though executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.

Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men.

We believe that He lived a perfect, sinless life and that He accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice.

We believe that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical, bodily resurrection from the dead.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor and Advocate.

We believe in His imminent return to receive the Church unto Himself at the Rapture, and in His personal, visible return with His Church at His Second Coming to establish His millennial kingdom.

Salvation

We believe that the only salvation for man is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, apart from human merit, works or ceremonies.  Jesus Christ purchased this salvation with His own precious blood on the cross, and it is eternal for all who receive it, not being dependent upon human faithfulness or a religious system for its completion.  We believe that it is the privilege of all who are truly born again to be assured of their salvation and to know that they are eternally secure.

Separation

We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as to not bring reproach upon their Savior and Lord.  Separation from all religious apostasy and all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices, and associations is commanded by God.

Church

We believe that the establishment and continuity of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the Scriptures.  We believe that the Church is the spiritual body of which Christ is the head.  The true Church is composed of all persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit.  This Body expresses itself in local assemblies whose members have demonstrated a credible confession of faith.
