Life Group Questions

1. If you were not able to hear this week’s sermon, consider going to the church website and listening to it. What main ideas did you gain from the message? Do you have any questions?

2. Briefly describe your understanding of the Kingdom of God. Why is the Kingdom of God important to us as Christians? How does God’s Kingdom compare with other kingdoms (cf. Matthew 3:1; 4:17; Psalm 145:13; 1 Chronicles 17:11-14)?

3. Do you ever struggle with worry? Why do you think people worry so much? Explain how worrying or being anxious can hinder our Kingdom focus. What is the remedy for worry?

4. What does it mean to seek the Kingdom of God? What are some things that we can do to help us seek the Kingdom? Where is the Kingdom to be found (cf. Luke 17:20-21; Romans 14:17)?

5. Why is the Kingdom of God worthy of first place in our lives? What does a life look like that has the Kingdom of God as a priority? How would you rate yourself for having a Kingdom priority?

6. Do you believe God will provide for all of your needs? Do you believe that you, as a child of God, are more valuable to Him than all of creation? How should these concepts help, encourage and challenge us in life?
