1 Corinthians 15:50-58

Life Group Questions

1. If you were not at this week’s sermon, consider going to the church website and listening to it. What main ideas did you gain from the message? Do you have any questions?

2. Read 1Corinthians 15:35-58. What observations stand out to you? What is the mystery that has been revealed? What are some other “mysteries” in your life that the Lord has made clear?

3. What excites you most about having a resurrected body one day? Describe the hope that this promise gives you (cf. 1Peter 1:3; Romans 5:1-2)? How should it impact your life today?

4. What are some of the things you fear most (e.g., death, public speaking, failure, snakes, etc.)? How does the power of Christ’s resurrection defeat the fear of death in your life (cf. Isaiah 25:8; Hosea 13:14; Romans 8:1-2)?

5. According to verse 57, Christians have been given victory over death through the Lord Jesus. What are some other things the Lord has given you victory over? Take some time to thank Him for His victory!

6. Describe what a life that is “always abounding in the work of the Lord” with the assurance of knowing that “in the Lord your labor is not in vain” looks like? Do you feel you are living that life? List some ways you can and should serve the Lord and His people at Macedonia?
