2. What does it mean for Christians to spend “life together”? What are some key aspects of this concept? Do you think it is important for Christians to focus on “life together”? Explain your thoughts.

3. List some things to which the early church was devoted. What does it mean to be devoted? Do you feel you are devoted to the same things as the early church? How important is this sense of devotion for doing “life together”?

4. How would you describe the general attitude of the early church depicted in this section of Scripture? Do you think Macedonia shares in this attitude? What are areas that we do well at emphasizing? In what areas do we need to grow?

5. How important is unity to the health of the church? What exactly is unity? Describe some ways in which you know a church has unity. What are some things that disrupt unity in the church, and how can we avoid them?

6. What does it mean to sacrifice for each other? How did people in the early church demonstrate a sacrificial attitude for others in need? Explain a time somebody sacrificed to help you. Are you willing to sacrifice for somebody who is in need?
