2. What are some thoughts that come to mind when you think about peace? What brings you peace? Do you think most people experience peace? Why or why not?
3. Read Hebrews 7:1-2 and Isaiah 9:6-7. What is God’s relationship and connection with peace? What do the titles King of Peace and Prince of Peace tell us about the nature of God (cf. 1Corinthians 14:33)?
4. Do you think that God plans for all people to have and experience peace (cf. Isaiah 57:20; Luke 19:42)? In what way does God give his people peace (cf. Psalm 29:11; 4:8; Numbers 6:24-26)? What does it mean that God made a covenant of peace with his people (cf. Isaiah 54:10)?
