Galatians 5:16-25

Life Group Questions

1. If you were not at this week’s sermon, consider going to the church website and listening to it. What main ideas did you gain from the message? Do you have any questions?

2. What does it mean that salvation is of and from the Lord (cf. Jonah 2:9)? In what way is salvation a work of God? Who initiated salvation and put it in place for mankind? What is mankind’s part in salvation?

3. Read Ephesians 1:1-14 and list at least three observations. What exactly are the blessings with which God has blessed us (cf. 1:3)? How does this passage support the idea that salvation is God’s work?

4. What are some feelings and attitudes that salvation should produce in the believer? What does it mean to rejoice in salvation? How does rejoicing in salvation please God? How does rejoicing in salvation proclaim God (cf. Psalm 40:15; 95)?

5. Choose three of the following and explain how they produce joy in salvation:
