2. How would you describe worship? Why is worship of God important for the Christian life? What kind of worship does God desire from His people? What are some things that will hinder our worship? Explain.

3. Why is God worthy of worship? What is it about His nature that should lead us to worship Him (cf. Deuteronomy 4:35; Isaiah 44:6)? What attributes of God incline us to worship Him (cf. Psalm 99:9; 139:6-7; 115:3)? What has God done to deserve worship (cf. Revelation 4:11; Psalm 139:14-18)?

4. Do you think most people associate worship of God with joy? Do you think God wants us to celebrate in worship? Is it wrong for us to find pleasure in worshipping God; is that irrelevant (cf. Psalm 85; 100; Philippians 4:4)? Explain.

5. What does it mean to sacrifice to God? How does the sacrificial system of the Old Testament differ for Christians today (cf. Psalm 50:14; 116:17; 1Peter 2:4-5; Romans 12:1-2)? Describe what it means to be a living sacrifice to God.

6. Describe some ways in which you can grow bolder in your worship. Do you feel you are determined to worship God with all your strength (cf. Psalm 81:1; 103:1; 34:1)? Take some time to pray, offering your worship to God and asking him to help you serve Him with all your strength.
