2. How would you describe the importance of the church to God? In what way has God shown his faithfulness to the church, his people (cf. Ephesians 5:25)? Describe some ways in which God has been faithful to Macedonia Church over the years.

3. Read Acts 2:42-47. What are some signs of devotion described in this passage? Do you think it is fair to say that the church was essential to these early Christians? Why or why not? Do you think Macedonia Church has a similar devotion? Explain.

4. What is the mission of God’s church (cf. Matthew 28:18-20)? Specifically, what are some tasks we are assigned as the church of God (cf. Acts 1:8)? Do you think Macedonia is faithful to the church’s mission? List some ways we can improve.

5. What is the message to be proclaimed by the church of God (cf. 1Corinthians 15)? What is the message of the Gospel, and why should we be bold in proclaiming it (cf. Romans 1:16)? How do we know if we are proclaiming the Gospel with power (cf. 1Corinthians 1:22-24; 2:4)?

6. Why is the Word of God so important to the church (cf. 2Timothy 3:16; Ephesians 4:14)? What does it mean to teach the whole counsel of God (cf. Acts 20:26-27)? List some of the reasons why many churches do not teach the whole counsel of God. How would you rate Macedonia Church in this matter?

7. Why is it essential for the church to meet together (cf. Hebrews 10:24-25)? List some common acts that demonstrate faithfulness to the church body (cf. Ephesians 4:1-3; Romans 12:4-5). Take time to pray the message of Hebrews 13:20-12.
