2. Why do we call non-Christians and unbelievers lost? Do you think that this is an appropriate designation? Why or why not? Are all people who have not believed in Christ His lost sheep (cf. John 10:25-30)? How do we know God’s sheep?
3. Why is it wise to be a soul winner (cf. Proverbs 11:30; Daniel 12:1-3)? What does it mean to win souls? Who is the one who actually does the winning of souls? How are souls won for Christ and the Kingdom of God?
4. Explain how it can be said that God takes no pleasure in the destruction of anyone, but He allows some to be lost in sin (cf. Ezekiel 18:30-32). Why do you think that we are to pray for all people, regardless of their relationship with God (cf. 1Timothy 2:1-4)? Do you believe that prayer can bring about the salvation of lost people? Explain.
5. What did Paul mean by saying that he became all things to all people (cf. 1Corinthians 9:19-23)? What are some of the dangers we need to avoid when becoming closely associated with lost people and their sin? What are some ways in which you need to be more involved with the lost so that they might hear the Gospel (cf. Matthews 9:3-38; 2Corinthians 4:3-4; Luke 14:15-24; Jude 1:20-23)?
6. Read the three parables of Luke 15:1-32 and provide at least three observations concerning the lost. How do you measure up to the teaching of this passage in your love for reaching the lost around you? What are some areas in which you need to grow so that you might reach more for the Kingdom?
