2. Describe what the world thinks about loving yourself. How does the world’s idea of love for yourself affect love for others and God? Why is the world’s view wrong?
3. Look at the following passages and give some insight into the biblical concept of loving and caring for yourself: Acts 16:28; Romans 2:1; 21; Galatians 6:1; Philippians 2:4; 1Timothy 4:7; 5:22; 2Timothy 2:15.
4. Why do you think that the biblical command to love our neighbor is associated with the phrase “as yourself” (e.g. Leviticus 19:18; Matthew 19:19; 22:39; etc.)? What does it mean to love our neighbor as ourselves? Give some basic concepts and ideas related to this concept.
5. Biblically speaking, who is our neighbor (cf. Luke 10:1-37)? List at least three lessons that the parable of the Good Samaritan teaches us about loving our neighbor. What challenges do you face in loving your neighbor?

Read the following passages and list some ways in which we are commanded to show love for our neighbor: Exodus 20:16-17; 22:14, 26; Leviticus 19:18; Deuteronomy 19:14; 23:24; Jeremiah 22:13; Proverbs 3:28; 11:12; 12:26; 14:20; 25:17. What are some ways in which the Lord wants you to do better at loving your neighbor?
