Life Group Questions

2. Describe some ways in which we measure power. How does a power designation help us understand the capacity or capability of something? What does it mean when we describe the Resurrection of Christ as powerful? What exactly does His Resurrection exemplify and accomplish for us?

3. How can a person have confidence that they know God in a beneficial and effectual way (cf. John 1:10; 8:32; 14:9; 1John 2:1-5)? What does it mean to know God, and how is it related to faith in God? How would you describe your level of understanding and knowing God? In what way would you like to know more of God (cf. Ephesians 4:13)?

4. Describe the importance of the Resurrection of Christ (cf. 1Corinthians 15; Romans 1:1-4, etc.). Why is the Resurrection of Christ crucial to our Christian faith? What would life be like without the work of His Resurrection and the hope of our resurrection?

5. What does it mean to live in and by the power of His Resurrection? How will living in the power of His Resurrection affect our boldness of faith, security in life, perseverance in suffering, and general attitude? Would you describe yourself as one who is living in the power of His Resurrection? Explain your thoughts.

6. Ultimately, all people will be raised from death (cf. Daniel 12:2-3). How can we be certain that our resurrection is leading to eternal life (cf. John 11:1-27)? Are you confident that you have the victory over death and the grave (cf. Romans 8:31-39)? Do you know for certain that you have eternal life?
